Johnny Boy

I've started posting O Holy Hello at least twice a week now, and so far things are going well in that matter. It's surprising how much time I have on my hands when I lack sleep...

In other news, a guy named John Rivera has offered to take me under his wing. I like to call him "CJ", because he's "Cool John" or "Computer John". He really knows how to get out there and be known professionally, and since I'm a newb with "a lot of potential and raw talent", he's going to help me get things together. I think that's so nice of him.

Some part of me is wondering why he'd go out of his way like this, but then again, so would I. I go out of my way to give people advice and help them all of the time. Maybe it's just karma coming back to me?

Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to buy my very own domain name! I'll have a super cool email too! And I'm also joining LinkedIn, this site for professional people.

Pen's Intentions/Warnings

This is a blog for open minded, mature audiences who don't mind "queer" or strange content that might insult their religion (mostly) unintentionally.

No really, there's going to be talk of guy macking and Satanism.

...

Okay. Let's get on with the introductions then, shall we?

Me, the Blogger: The name is Reese P. Holmes, but you can call me "Pen" for short. My main obsession is humanity. I suppose that makes me a little narcissistic, in a way. Cultures, gender, LGBT, and mythology are some of my favorite topics and they'll be in this blog a lot. Speaking of which...

The Topics: I am documenting my budding career as an LGBT artist trapped between the worlds of Fine Art and Illustration.

My Goals:
 1. Become a director of a cartoon and/or comic book/graphic novel.

2. Be published (well, technically published AGAIN but in the USA this time).

3. Have and pay a creative team.

4. Have a larger fan base.

On a side note, I really don't care to become "the next big thing" in mainstream culture. The last thing I need is to continue censoring myself like I already have to when living day to day life.
